Gianpiero Mercoli
Gianpiero Mercoli was born in Milan, in 1975. He graduated in classical guitar at the Conservatory of Piacenza G.Nicolini. His lead guitar was John Podera, He then attended master classes with leading teachers and national and international performers:
Julius Tampalini & Luciano Marziali, by Giorgio Oltremari to Tilmann Hoppstock. But also jazz workshops with Attilio Zanchi and Sandro Gibellini and Garrison Fewell.
He loves the most intimate pages of the repertoire of his instrument, swing and blues. He was the guitarist of the Brown Recluse until 2005. He plays in Buscioni Brothers, early jazz project with Michele Dallago on guitar and Stafano Bertoli on drums.
He collaborates with the publisher GA-music (www.ga-music.com). He teaches guitar at the music association Suonintorno, the Amadeus Music School and at the association Oltrelenote.
